A Starry Night was had by all! Thank you to everyone who pulled together a glorious community event.

Some feedback of the night:

"Well done to you all for an amazing event.  I know a lot of work went on over many weeks to pull it together.  The venue was perfect, and the range of activities were great."

"It was a new venue for Starry Night with challenging weather, but you pulled off something very special."

"Well what a fabulous night - despite the weather - great turn out and great fun."

"It was a great opportunity for the local community to visit and see what The Meeting Place can host and is all about."

'Open Mic Night' - 26 Oct 2024

The Meeting Place hosted an Open Mic Night drawing in locals who performed or simply enjoyed the atmosphere. We were entertained with singing, duets, dance, music, reading of poetry, community singing, and a skit. All this while sipping homemade non-alcoholic mulled wine and chai and eating delicious cakes in an ambient setting. What more could you ask for!

Donations were collected on the night to raise funds for the Save the Children Gaza Emergency Appeal. Thank you to all who donated the $675.

Watch this mash up video of the performances to get a feel for the night.
