At Murrumbeena Uniting it is really important that you feel welcome when you visit online and when you visit us face-to-face. The community here is a mix of ages and backgrounds, traditions and cultures.
Some of us have been here for years and some of us are fairly new. Some of us grew up in church going families and some of us didn’t. Some of us know a bit about God, Jesus and the Bible and some of us don’t. Some of us
probably don’t know why we keep coming – is it the music? The food? The company? The chance to hear more about God’s amazing love for us?
What we do know is, as a church community in this place and at this time, we are trying to love God more, trying to look after each other better and to be a better presence in the community around us. We try and do
this through our mission statement: “To make Christ known through preaching the gospel in word and deed.”
We are committed to providing safe places where people are cared for, nurtured and sustained. We have adopted the Keeping Children Safe Statement of Commitment, and through it we continue to commit ourselves to the care, protection and safety of all people, particularly those who are vulnerable.

So welcome – we look forward to meeting you.
